Oprah Winfrey Testimony
“Many of you have heard of me share the story of growing up in rural Mississippi… at the time we were called coloured people or negroes. My grandmother was a maid. That’s all she ever knew”.
The only real expectation she ever had for me was that one day, I would become a maid, those were her words to me. She would say to me “someday a good white folks (meaning people who would not speak negatively about me, who would allow me to take food home, who would be good to me and treat me with some level of dignity and respect.) That was my grandmother’s dream for me.
But I had another dream for myself. I had more than a dream for myself: I believed in myself.
“I remember watching her hang out clothes on the line. Then one day she said to me, you have to watch me Oprah Gail, one day you will have to do this for yourself. And knowing inside myself that was not going to be my life. I don’t know how I knew it, other than that we all have intuition or instinct. That inner voice or gut feeling said no, this will not be my life”.

Jim Carrey Testimony
Vision played an important role in my life.
“When I wasn’t doing anything in town, I’d go up every night, sit on Mulholland Drive, look out at the city stretch out my arms and say. Everybody wants to work with me. I am really a good actor. I have all kinds of great movie offers.
I’d just repeat these things over and over, literally convincing myself that I had a couple of movies lined up. I’d drive down that hill, ready to take the world on, sayings, movie offers are out there for me. I just don’t hear them yet. It was like total affirmations.
I would write a check to myself and visualize it really happening. And it did.
